Through the magic of coincidence, a few links came over the wire this week that all have to do with the professional and creative development of UX types like me. In no particular order, they are:
- The Information Architecture Institute released the results of their 2010 salary survey. IAI 2010 Salary Survey.
- Jared Spool spoke at UXCamp DC and gave tons of valuable advice for UX jobseekers, UX hiring managers, and managers who want to incorporate UX into their organization. Experience, titles, portfolios, personality traits, attracting & retaining good people, he covers it all. Jared Spool at UXCamp DC.
- And finally, I don’t know when it happened (maybe you could do it all along and I’m just thick), but you can now sign up for Dribbble as a “spectator.” For me, this means access to (and inspiration from) the work of a bunch of talented designers. It also means a lot of Knockout, but it’s all good. Become a Dribbble spectator.
